DokuWiki is Lighter than it Looks
Light weight web apps that can work ‘off the grid’ are absolutely huge in my line of work. When in the field or in developing areas where you don’t have access to the cloud, you look for ways to use web apps offline. Wiki’s are great for note-taking and project collaboration, and the more light weight the solution the better. Enter DokuWiki.
DokuWiki is a simple to use Wiki aimed at small group documentation needs. It works on plain texts files and thus needs no database. It has a simple but powerful Syntax which makes sure the data files remain readable outside the Wiki. Have a look at the complete feature list:
