		<description>Thank you for highlighting the latest challenge in terms of access to virtual worlds from Africa. Second Life (R) has incredible potential, but its usability for nonprofits and enterprises from/in Africa relate entirely to the cost-model and the ability to use the platform sustainably without exploiting digital resources (bandwidth, pixels, prims, graphic, scripts, streams) - very much like real world Africa....

We remain committed to explore the potential of Second Life (R) for developing worlds. This latest set-back for non-profits need to be carefully examined - not only in the context of the sector, but also in relation to small business. If corporations and large NGOs are the true target market, then Linden Lab should rather express this, instead of turning the financial heat on for smaller nonprofits and micro(virtual)entrepreneurs. Lets define the latter soon and protect their interests in the virtual world economy...</description>
