    Google is increasingly embedding itself into the African tech community. It’s not surprising, then, that they’re now actively engaging African students. Their Google Gadget competition has been open to East African students since February and Monday, July 14th marks the last day for participants to enter.

    The ThinkTank Initiative invites applications from independent African organisations that are committed to using research to inform and influence social and economic policy.
