
Campala is a barcamp event taking place in Kampala, Uganda on August 31, 2008. We’re currently looking for people who’d like to participate. If you’re interested or if you’d like to recommend someone contact us at j.gosier@appfrica.org. For those of you unfamiliar with Barcamp, they are ad-hoc gatherings born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. They’re intense events with discussions, demos and interaction from participants. There are no real speakers or guest of honor, the attendees are the speakers and everyone gets their turn on the soapbox if they should want it!
