Google South Africa To Open Theme Park

Rumors that Google SA will be opening a massive 200 acre theme park in Cape Town, South Africa have proven to be 98.7% true. The park, dubbed GOOG TOWN in official documents will feature programmer themed rides such as the water-ride Chrome Waterfalls, Google’s Summer of Node, Ad Sense Scavenger Hunt, roller coaster simulator Python 3D and the action-packed thriller Save the Jaiku. One controversial ride, Bash the Balding Ballmer, has been cancelled after Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer complained that it was in poor taste and threatened legal action. There will also be a massive cosplay arena built in partnership with executives from Blizzard Entertainment, the company behind MMORPG World of War Craft.

The documents were reportedly leaked when an unnamed Google representative in the U.S. left his briefcase beside a urinal while attending a meeting last week. The cost of admission will be 200RAND. Click here to read Google’s official press release.
