Appfrica.org facilitates, mentors and incubates entrepreneurs in software in East Africa and Uganda. We offer a physical space with a solid internet connection, development servers, software and computers that allow students and recent graduates an area for developing their ideas in a constructive environment. Appfrica exists to mentor, support and nurture proactive students and entrepreneurs outside of school, to supplement their formal education. Projects and business plans are refined and prepped to help students secure funding from venture capitalists, investors and financiers from private sector groups around the world.

The goal is to help East African university level software enthusiasts and developers actively engage the private sector from a worldly, professional perspective. By helping them create products that provide solutions and that are profitable, we help them make money and to begin healthy careers.
